TIME Magazine has chosen the Masimo W1® Medical Watch as one of its Best Inventions of 2024

TIME’s Best Inventions – a list of 200 groundbreaking innovations, presented annually for more than 20 years – highlight the year’s most impactful new products and ideas, solicited from editors and correspondents and evaluated based on factors such as originality, efficacy, ambition, and impact. Describing it as “A Stand-out Tracker,” TIME notes that Masimo W1 is the only medical wearable approved by the FDA to provide continuous, accurate oxygen saturation and pulse rate tracking, adding that the device “gives medical-grade accuracy a cut above most fitness trackers” while tracking the wearer every second (adding up to 70,000 measurements a day), which is “critical for those with chronic conditions.”
