Masimo has received the Medical Technology Association of Australia's (MTAA) highest award, the Kerrin Rennie Award for Excellence in Medical Technology-Improving Quality of
Life, for the innovative and extraordinary contributions of the Masimo Radical-7 Pulse CO-Oximeter in improving health outcomes of Australian patients.

In selecting Masimo as its 2008 Kerrin Rennie Award winner, MTAA highlighted both technical and clinical innovations demonstrated by the Radical-7, commenting:
